So last week I finally bought a piece of glass to finish off the 454 coffee table. The finish result is quite gorgeous, and makes a great living room centerpiece. I don't think I'm going to sell it at least for awhile.
Over the weekend I modified the oil pan for the 350 so that it could clear the steering rod in the Mazda. Some heat, a hammer, and a little working later, and we hammered the pan down about an inch. It clears the rod (just barely, I'm still planning on making some spacers for the motor mounts to give me some extra height), still flows oil nicely, and looks good. Plus, I fixed a huge dent that was in the bottom of the pan. I wish I took some pictures of it before and after, but I didn't think to do that.

Sweet table. I don't think my roommates would approve if I bought something like that for the house.

Nice table. Housemate would not allow, though. All Stickley and Baker furniture now.
Guarantee it would not go well with her. No room in garage, either. That is workspace. Oh, well.

Wife asked how my MZR table project was coming last night, told her since we were moving and I was losing my man cave it was on hold..... she asked why? Hmm, I didn't think she'd want it in the shared portion of the house. Guess I was wrong.
